Here are a few ways to keep warm with the outfits you have.
Add layers to your outfit
Not only does adding layers to your outfit keep your body warm but if you put some thought into it, it could also elevate your look. If you’re wearing a blouse or shirt, wear a T-shirt under your blouse and top it off with a thick jacket and scarf.
If you begin your journey to work during the wee hours of the morning, it might be a good idea to add a light hoodie and thick stockings to your outfit. The hood will keep your hair from getting wetting from the morning dew while the stockings will help keep your legs warm.
Keep your toes toasty by wearing warm, comfortable, closed shoes. Boots are a good option if you have a pair. Depending on how you style your look, boots can go with almost anything.
Once you’re layered, bundled and booted consider these two options to keep the momentum going.
Drink warm liquids
Some offices provide tea services but if yours doesn’t there’s always the option of carrying your own warm drink using a small thermos. It doesn’t have to be tea or coffee, if you prefer, you could also carry porridge or your soup of choice.
Add a little activity to your routine. This will get your blood pumping and increase your body’s core temperature. It doesn’t have to be a strenuous activity, walking up a flight of stairs, brisk walking or doing ten squats should do the trick.
